Do you want to have a wedding that is away from all of the traffic, buildings, and noise of the big city but you also don’t want to make all your guests drive for multiple hours to get there? Well the Robinswood House-City of Bellevue is the venue for you. This idylic venue is right next to downtown Bellevue but you would never know it. The Robinswood House is hidden away in a small park and surrounded by massive hedges. I love the gardens around this property and the tree where you setup the ceremony is perfect. If you every thought about getting married under a beautiful tree look no further 🙂 There is plenty of space for getting ready here and ample photo/video spots. It is an intimate space but that didn’t stop Leslie and James from packing in a ton of people and a the full Michael Benson Band to rock the night away.
An unbeatable view, breath taking flowers, and a gorgeous couple was the recipe for a perfect day at The Golf Club at Newcastle. It’s no wonder this wedding was picked up by Modern Weddings for publication. You can check out the full story of this here: https://modernweddings.com/2019/10/aya-maxs-romantic-outdoor-wedding/.
The Golf Club at Newcastle is always one of my favorite places as a wedding videographer to film a wedding video because it has all the convenience of a hotel for a large gala wedding but unlike many hotels it has a ton of natural light and views which make taking videos/photo a breeze. Also it is super easy to get to which is a big plus for Sunday weddings. Be sure to check out the flowers in this video by Courtney Kroymann because they are amazing!
TreeHouse Point has to be the most unique wedding venue in all of Washington. I mean Tree houses who doesn’t love that? What a romantic way to spend your first night as a married couple together. Also the video footage and photos are particularly cool here; you are basically guaranteed to impress all of your guests just on location alone 🙂
I had the pleasure of filming Arianeh & Jacob’s wedding here which actually began at Salish Lodge & Spa for getting ready and then moved to TreeHouse Point for the ceremony and reception. Tree house point does have a getting ready spot for a small group but for big parties it is usually easier to get ready at another location and then do the final touches like getting your dress on at Tree house point . With Snoqualmie Falls and Salish Lodge about 15 minutes down the road these two are the perfect combo. Arianeh & Jacob’s wedding was a lush, crystal and forest inspired wedding so, so many gorgeous details. Be sure to check out the video so you can see how amazing their ceremony was and all of the photo spots.
Nowhere could filming wedding videos be simpler and more joyful then at Rein Fire Ranch. Literally every direction you look, from the dense green evergreen forests to stunning mountain peaks, and did I say horses cause yea they got that. Any bride that is into horses this is your venue. As a wedding videographer I love the country charm of this place and it was perfect for Kayla and Cameron who tied the knot here in early summer.

I couldn’t help but write about the amazing day I had getting B-roll around wedding venues in the Sodo and Georgetown areas of Seattle.
We have been updating Pixel Dust’s gear for the 2019 season to Canon’s brand new mirrorless camera system and it was high time to recapture some B-roll in glorious 4K definition. There are so many exceptional venues in the South Seattle area it was the perfect place to start recording. Here are some pics from the day. Big thanks to Georgetown Ballroom, Seattle Design Center, The Foundry, Canvas Event Space, Sodo Park, and Westland Distillery for looking so awesome!
If want to see more of these amazing venues and a few others check out this video we made for the 2016 “I Do Sodo” wedding show.
