Beautiful Wedding Celebration at JM Cellars

By Wedding Guide, woodinville wedding videography No Comments

I love weddings at JM Cellars in Woodinville!

When Alli and Nickโ€™s original wedding plans needed to be canceled because of COVID in 2020 they decided to host a small ceremony with just immediate family in their backyard. Fortunately, in 2021 after a long wait they were finally able to celebrate their marriage with friends and family at the beautiful JM Cellars in Woodinville, WA. Their celebration featured a delicious cake from Honey Crumb Bakery and some for the best florals of the year thanks to Lori of Flori Flowers. Friends and family were overjoyed to come together and enjoy this relaxed and happy celebration. I love the beautiful beautiful late summer

Advice from a Kitsap Wedding Videographer: Trying to keep play it cool during you first look? Good Luck

By Uncategorized No Comments

There is sometime truly magical about filming weddings on the Northern coast of Kitsap County WA for a wedding videographer. It is one of those perfect places that can balance the natural remote splendor of the northwest that many adventurous couples long for. While not being too “deep” in the woods or in the middle of nowhere where your more elderly guests start to wonder if you really wanted them at your wedding in the first place ๐Ÿ™‚

Kitsap Memorial State Park in Poulsbo is the perfect example of this. You have the beach, classic northwest Rhodie/Evergreen forest, and as an added bonus you even get birch trees for that rare white tree backdrop. All within a two minute walk from the parking lot. There are also plenty of small chapels and large venues to choose from in the area if you want an indoor ceremony/reception. One of my favorites is the picturesque and intimate Breidablik Chapel run by Krishell’s Events.

Take a quick look for yourself while enjoying this adorable first look from Elizabeth and Shawns wedding. They made the great decision get doing photos at Kitsap Memorial and then went to Breidablik to get married.

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington Wedding Video

I love filming at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. They have amazing getting ready rooms, the ceremony and backup ceremony spots have tons of light, and the reception space is killer for 200+ people weddings. Did I even mention the view looking north on lake Washington with the Seattle skyline just peaking through? This venue really has it all.

What’s the most unique wedding venue in Washington? One hint: Treehouse.

TreeHouse Point in Issiquah is the real deal when it comes to being a Treehouse Wedding Venue

TreeHouse Point has to be the most unique wedding venue in all of Washington. I mean Tree houses who doesn’t love that? What a romantic way to spend your first night as a married couple together. Also the video footage and photos are particularly cool here; you are basically guaranteed to impress all of your guests just on location alone ๐Ÿ™‚
I had the pleasure of filming Arianeh & Jacob’s wedding here which actually began at Salish Lodge & Spa for getting ready and then moved to TreeHouse Point for the ceremony and reception. Tree house point does have a getting ready spot for a small group but for big parties it is usually easier to get ready at another location and then do the final touches like getting your dress on at Tree house point . With Snoqualmie Falls and Salish Lodge about 15 minutes down the road these two are the perfect combo. Arianeh & Jacob’s wedding was a lush, crystal and forest inspired wedding so, so many gorgeous details. Be sure to check out the video so you can see how amazing their ceremony was and all of the photo spots.
