Advice from a Kitsap Wedding Videographer: Trying to keep play it cool during you first look? Good Luck

By Uncategorized No Comments

There is sometime truly magical about filming weddings on the Northern coast of Kitsap County WA for a wedding videographer. It is one of those perfect places that can balance the natural remote splendor of the northwest that many adventurous couples long for. While not being too “deep” in the woods or in the middle of nowhere where your more elderly guests start to wonder if you really wanted them at your wedding in the first place 🙂

Kitsap Memorial State Park in Poulsbo is the perfect example of this. You have the beach, classic northwest Rhodie/Evergreen forest, and as an added bonus you even get birch trees for that rare white tree backdrop. All within a two minute walk from the parking lot. There are also plenty of small chapels and large venues to choose from in the area if you want an indoor ceremony/reception. One of my favorites is the picturesque and intimate Breidablik Chapel run by Krishell’s Events.

Take a quick look for yourself while enjoying this adorable first look from Elizabeth and Shawns wedding. They made the great decision get doing photos at Kitsap Memorial and then went to Breidablik to get married.

Seattle Wedding Videographer now offering wedding and ceremony Live Streaming options so your family can stay safe and not miss a moment of your wedding ceremony

By Uncategorized 2 Comments

Due to covid-19 and social distancing requirements has your wedding guest list needed to be dramatically reduced? Are you forgoing the traditional large wedding in favor of a smaller event or an elopement? Are you now hosting your wedding in a backyard or a local park? With video live streaming you can create a safe atmosphere for your wedding and ensure all of your friends and family will not miss a moment of your wedding day celebration.

There are many reasons why couples in the greater Seattle area and the state of Washington are now looking into smaller weddings. To meet social distancing requirements indoor venues that already meet a high level of safety requirements are currently (July 2020) required to keep capacity less than 25%. That means for many couples out there dramatically reducing their guest list. But for most a wedding isn’t a wedding if it cant be witnessed and celebrated with all of their loved ones and +1’s 🙂

To solve this problem Pixeldust Weddings a Seattle based wedding videography company is now offering live streaming for wedding ceremonies and toasts. The setup is low-key, portable, and can work anywhere there is wireless internet or a reliable cell connection. Your digital guests can tune in at a set time from anywhere in the world with an easy to use link. They can even comment in real time during your ceremony!

Wedding video live streaming is a great solution for many couples who already have plans in place or simply can’t wait an indeterminate amount of time to get married. Stay safe out there everyone!

Toma + Genie | Ballard Wedding Seattle

By Uncategorized No Comments

True love is in the air for the sweet heart couple Toma and Genie.

A Ballard wedding in Seattle

This was one of my most unique and amazing weddings of 2019. The people, the style, the setting, this wedding was spectacular. Ballard Bay Club absolutely delivered a golden sunset over the waters of Puget Sound. Guests entered the reception to this stunning backdrop complimented by elegant floral and metal table arrangements that I just love. Be sure to stay to the end for a closer of traditional Polynesian dancing. Shout out to the amazing wedding planner/designer, Kyro with Good Friend Events who kept a day packed with activities running smooth.

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington Wedding Video

By Uncategorized No Comments

I love filming at the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington. They have amazing getting ready rooms, the ceremony and backup ceremony spots have tons of light, and the reception space is killer for 200+ people weddings. Did I even mention the view looking north on lake Washington with the Seattle skyline just peaking through? This venue really has it all.
